Aishwarya Rai, SRK in Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi Remake?
Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in director Rohit Shetty's remake of the 1958 comedy film Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi. The other two actors being considered to join them are reportedly Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
The Bachchan parivaar seems to have big plans for 2015. While Aaradhya will start going to school, her mother Aishwarya is all set to make a comeback on the silver screen after a gap of five years. She will be seen in Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa and will star with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in Karan Johar's next film. As for Amitabh Bachchan, while the sneak-peaks of Wazir have not managed to excite the audiences much, his other upcoming films Shamitabh and Piku are highly anticipated. The reason for it could partly be because of his co-stars. Talking about co-stars, seems like Big B and daughter-in-law might soon have a common co-star. And for once it won't be Abhishek. Rumor has it that Big B may play father (Sunil Dutt) to Ranbir who will be Sanjay Dutt in Raj Kumar Hirani's biopic on Sanjay Dutt.
Bollywood is an industry ruled by good looks when it comes to its leading men. However, Dhanush, a national award winning star down south, became a star pan India with Kolaveri Di. To enter the world of Hindi cinema, Dhanush had to overcome two major obstacles - his unconventional looks and the inability to speak in Hindi. In 2013, director Anand L Rai cast him opposite Sonam Kapoor in Ranjhanaa. A year later, Dhanush has now returned to Hindi cinema with Shamitabh.
Director Karan Johar has signed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma for his next project Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The director will work with Aishwarya for the first time.
